Transfer Possibilities for SUNY ADIRONDACK Courses Taken at GSI in Doha

One of the many strengths offered by the presence of the SUNY Adirondack participation in the GSI initiative at the Aspire and NSA facilities is the ability to transfer credits to other universities. Being part of the largest system of public higher education in the United States, SUNY Adirondack has established a multitude of career pathways for its students.

These pathways may be to universities in the SUNY system or other universities in the United States. In addition, SUNY Adirondack has already verified course equivalencies with many universities in Qatar to accept their credits for students who wish to pursue a 4-year bachelor’s degree upon completion of their studies at SUNY Adirondack. This list of transfer credit possibilities is growing continually. If a university or a course is not on our list, it does not mean that there is no possibility of transfer credit. Typically, it means that the students are encouraged to contact the university directly.

Students may transfer at any time in their career at SUNY Adirondack, knowing in advance that their credits will transfer towards an accelerated completion program at another university, i.e. students will transfer with freshman, sophomore or junior status depending on the number of credits that will transfer. These equivalencies facilitate the course selection of students. Our GSI experts will have the latest information and thus be able to guide students accordingly.
